Starbucks - love 'em or hate 'em... we'll save that conversation for another blog. For me, whenever I see that round green sign with the mermaid my spirit does a little skip for joy. It is a safe haven no matter what city I am in and it feels a little bit like home everytime I step inside. Today I had to fill an hour, so I cozied up in a purple velvet chair with my iced tea, magazine and the sun on my back and I just sat and enjoyed the solitude. I didn't want to disturb anyone else's peaceful space so I quickly snapped this shot from my vantage point and then tucked my camera back into my bag.
